broncolor Workshop in Allschwil (Switzerland)

The broncolor workshops, which are well-known and greatly appreciated since many years, have been completely restructured in the last few months. The central topic remains studio light control. The experienced workshop instructors introduce the advanced amateur photographer to studio light control, and give even professional photographers many practical tips and tricks along the way.

Whilst the previous workshops focused exclusively on product photography, in the new concept, people photography has been given an equal position:

People Photography

On the first day, the workshop instructor will explain the basic rules of light design and carry out several live shootings, giving explanations of the setup step by step. Of course, it will be possible for the participant to take photographic notes and to work with the model in the finished setup. On the second day, the observations will be put into practice in small groups and also with models.

Product Photography

The product photography workshops will continue with their long-standing, time-tested concept. In small groups, specific shots will be reproduced. Problems encountered will be discussed and solved with the course photographer.

In order to spend as much time as possible in the studio, lunch will be taken in a restaurant only on one of the two days. A working lunch will be offered in the studio the other day.

The expenses for food and refreshments (coffee, drinks and lunch) as well as the course documents are included in the course fee – the participant is kindly requested to arrange his/her own hotel accommodation.

Costs:

People (2 days): (inkl. 8.0 % VAT) CHF 850

Stillife (2 days): (inkl. 8.0 % VAT) CHF 700

For signing up or further enquiries, could you please contact Myrtha Chollet (mchollet@bron.ch), who is responsible for the organisation of the workshops, or one of the photographers: Urs Recher (urecher@bron.ch), for the people workshop, and Nadia Winzenried (nwinzenried@bron.ch), for the product workshop.
